Crab Creek Review Stands with Black Lives Matter
Crab Creek Review stands with Black Lives Matter and acknowledges our place within the systematically racist structure of publishing. As a journal, we must do better to publish Black writers and writers of color. To ensure that this happens, we plan to:
- Curate future content on the CCR website that is focused on equity in publishing, and that honors, amplifies, and uplifts Black voices.
- Solicit Black authors and authors of color.
- Provide free access to Black authors and black artists for our upcoming Poetry Classic Fast Lane submission period.
- Work on educating ourselves individually and collectively as a team on anti-racism and white supremacy in the literary world.
